In a place where iron was once movement, life, and families, and has become still in the face of scorched evidence, artist Tom Shmueli chose to resurrect an ancient and powerful message from all destruction: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” The work draws deep inspiration from the metal remains at the Nuba site, where time has left its mark, but within Tom’s art – corrosion does not symbolize loss but rebirth.

Each piece is a piece of the Israeli story, delicately cut from the heavy iron and carrying the message that seems more vital than ever today. “And Love” does not seek to explain or define – it is simply there. Exposed, carved in iron, and a living reminder of the human power to rise from the ashes. The piece gives the space of the home a presence that goes beyond design; it is a statement of spirit and hope that reminds us to choose love, day after day.
